The read
Dell-integrated and Omni-Path-connected, which together describe a segment of the market that the leadership-class systems obscure: most academic compute is bought from volume server vendors on merchant fabrics, not from Cray or IBM. Omni-Path itself left Intel in 2020 and is now carried by Cornelis Networks.
