Google Pryor North TPU Campus

Deep dive: Anthropic and Google TPUs: stated vs modelled

Also known as Google Pryor (North)

Operated by Alphabet at Google Mayes County Data Center .

Phase 1 seed dataset, compiled by hand. These rows were built from public operator, laboratory and vendor sources. A mechanical second-reader pass has since fetched every cited source: 1092 of 1153 systems have a readable citation that names them, and 40 are genuinely weakly sourced. Every claim carries its source and a confidence tier. Treat anything below verified as a lead, not a citation.

What this machine is made of

One row per supplier relationship. “Supplier at build” is the company that shipped the part at the time; where that company has since been acquired, the parent it rolls up to today is shown beside it. That distinction is what makes ticker-level aggregation possible across a thirty-year dataset.

The read

Google's TPU AI-compute campus at Pryor in Mayes County, Oklahoma, distinct from the 2022 Cloud TPU v4 ML hub row (google-tpu-v4-ml-hub-oklahoma) that shares the same county site. Google's Oklahoma page says Pryor has operated since 2007 and records 9 billion dollars of cloud and AI infrastructure investment announced in 2025 across Oklahoma sites; it states no TPU count or power for Pryor. Epoch AI's AI data centers dataset (CC BY 4.0), which models capacity from satellite imagery, cooling equipment and chip availability, estimates about 23,500 TPU v5p and 77,900 TPU v5e chips and 368 MW of IT power as of 2 October 2026, with the first building operational in July 2024. Those are modelled third-party estimates, recorded only as estimates in the metrics table. Google reports a campus trailing-twelve-month PUE of 1.11 for Mayes County (Q2 2026). Hardware rests on Epoch alone, so the tier is reported.

We fetched this system's own citations and recorded whether each page actually mentions it. This is a corroboration signal, not a fact check, and it is published so you can see how well the sourcing holds up rather than take it on trust.
