What this machine is made of

The read
The most useful system on this site, because of what it implies rather than what it is. Eagle is a slice of Azure that Microsoft chose to submit for HPL measurement. Neither its power draw nor its physical site has been disclosed, and the far larger commercial clusters built over the same period were never submitted at all. It is the one calibration point we have between the ranked world and the unranked one, and every estimate on our shadow-list page is anchored to it.
