Stargate Shackelford County (Frontier)

Also known as Vantage Frontier

Operated by Oracle at Vantage Frontier Campus (Shackelford County) .

Phase 1 seed dataset, compiled by hand. These rows were built from public operator, laboratory and vendor sources. A mechanical second-reader pass has since fetched every cited source: 1092 of 1153 systems have a readable citation that names them, and 40 are genuinely weakly sourced. Every claim carries its source and a confidence tier. Treat anything below verified as a lead, not a citation.

What this machine is made of

One row per supplier relationship. “Supplier at build” is the company that shipped the part at the time; where that company has since been acquired, the parent it rolls up to today is shown beside it. That distinction is what makes ticker-level aggregation possible across a thirty-year dataset.

The read

Vantage Data Centers' 1.4 GW Frontier campus in Shackelford County, Texas, ten single-story buildings totalling 3.7 million square feet on 1,200 acres, with racks above 250 kW and a mix of air and liquid-to-liquid cooling on a closed-loop chilled-water system. Vantage's own announcement (19 August 2025) gives the capacity, buildings and a first-building delivery in the second half of 2026 but does not mention Oracle or OpenAI; a December 2025 groundbreaking report ties the campus to the Oracle and OpenAI Stargate expansion, and Epoch AI's Stargate site tracker separately lists Shackelford as a Stargate site with Vantage as developer, while giving a larger projected capacity of 2.0 GW than Vantage's own 1.4 GW. Oracle is recorded as operator on the strength of that Stargate association and to match the Stargate Abilene row. No accelerator type or count has been published, and power is blank because 1.4 GW is a campus design capacity.
