CoreWeave Kenilworth (NEST)

Also known as CoreWeave NEST Campus; Northeast Science and Technology Center AI data center

Operated by CoreWeave at NEST Campus (Kenilworth NJ) .

Phase 1 seed dataset, compiled by hand. These rows were built from public operator, laboratory and vendor sources. A mechanical second-reader pass has since fetched every cited source: 1092 of 1153 systems have a readable citation that names them, and 40 are genuinely weakly sourced. Every claim carries its source and a confidence tier. Treat anything below verified as a lead, not a citation.

What this machine is made of

One row per supplier relationship. “Supplier at build” is the company that shipped the part at the time; where that company has since been acquired, the parent it rolls up to today is shown beside it. That distinction is what makes ticker-level aggregation possible across a thirty-year dataset.

The read

CoreWeave's 250 MW AI data center at the former Merck research campus in Kenilworth, New Jersey (now the Northeast Science and Technology Center, NEST). CoreWeave bought the property and 27 adjacent acres in August 2025 for 322 million dollars, began construction in September 2025 and was awarded a 250 million dollar tax credit over five years, the first award under New Jersey's Next New Jersey Program - AI, in November 2025. The project is about 392,600 square feet (284,500 square feet retrofit of building 11 NEST plus 108,100 square feet of new construction), has a stated cost of about 1.8 billion dollars and targets operation in early 2027. Neither page names a GPU model or count, so no accelerator edge is recorded. Both sources are trade or analysis coverage of the NJEDA award rather than a CoreWeave page, so the tier is reported. It has never submitted an HPL result.

Source check

We fetched this system's own citations and recorded whether each page actually mentions it. This is a corroboration signal, not a fact check, and it is published so you can see how well the sourcing holds up rather than take it on trust.
