Bitdeer AI's 29 September 2026 release says it has off-take commitments for more than 70% of the roughly 21.7 MW A201 liquid-cooled data center in Johor Bahru, worth more than $1.7B over five years, built for rack-scale NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 with part of the rack space designed for Vera Rubin. Bitdeer states it has already bought more than 100 GB300 NVL72 racks from an unaffiliated supplier ahead of energization. The release targets energization in Q1 2027; Bitdeer's 19 October 2026 operations update lists ready-for-service January 2027 and full deployment and go-live in April 2027. At 72 GPUs per NVL72 rack, more than 100 racks would imply over 7,000 GPUs, but that is arithmetic on the rack count and Bitdeer does not state a GPU total, so none is recorded.
