The Computational Shared Facility 3 is the University of Manchester's shared research HPC cluster, funded largely by research-group contributions and run by IT Services. The current-configuration page totals 26,856 CPU cores and 204 NVIDIA GPUs: 14,448 AMD Genoa cores (86 nodes of 2x84-core EPYC 9634), 1,736 standard Intel cores, 9,840 Cascade Lake cores in 246 multinode and HPC Pool nodes (InfiniBand EDR), 832 cores in high-memory nodes, and GPU nodes with 76 A100 80GB, 8 A100 40GB, 88 L40S and 32 H200 SXM GPUs. Lustre scratch is 1.9 PB. The page notes new hardware is added several times a year, so totals move. Operator documentation only, so the tier is reported.
