Crusoe Abilene Campus (Microsoft)

Deep dive: Stargate Abilene: 1.2 GW, four of eight live

Operated by Crusoe at Crusoe Abilene Microsoft Campus .

Phase 1 seed dataset, compiled by hand. These rows were built from public operator, laboratory and vendor sources. A mechanical second-reader pass has since fetched every cited source: 1092 of 1153 systems have a readable citation that names them, and 40 are genuinely weakly sourced. Every claim carries its source and a confidence tier. Treat anything below verified as a lead, not a citation.

What this machine is made of

One row per supplier relationship. “Supplier at build” is the company that shipped the part at the time; where that company has since been acquired, the parent it rolls up to today is shown beside it. That distinction is what makes ticker-level aggregation possible across a thirty-year dataset.

The read

A second, physically distinct Crusoe campus in Abilene, announced in March 2026 and adjacent to the original Lancium Clean Campus that carries the stargate-abilene row (operated by Oracle for OpenAI): this new 900 MW campus of two buildings and its own on-site power plant is built AND operated by Crusoe itself, with Microsoft as the named capacity tenant, which is the gap this row is meant to close, since Crusoe's other row in this dataset lists Oracle rather than Crusoe as operator. Crusoe's own release and Data Center Knowledge's independent coverage agree on the 900 MW figure, the two-building design and the adjacency to the existing 1.2 GW site, bringing the combined Abilene campus to a stated 2.1 GW total. No accelerator hardware has been named by any source yet, and the first building is targeted for energization in mid-2027, so this row carries no FLOPS and stays at reported confidence pending an operator statement on the GPU generation.
