IBM Quantum System One (Bromont)
IBM Quantum System One (Bromont) is a superconducting circuits quantum computer operated by IBM in Canada. It has 127 physical qubits. It ranks 14 of 53 superconducting machines in this table by physical qubit count. 2 sourced specs are in the spec sheet. No benchmark figures are recorded for it yet.
Also known as IBM Quebec Quantum System One, Bromont Quantum System One
IBM's first quantum system in Canada, announced in February 2022 with the Quebec government and inaugurated at IBM's Bromont plant in September 2023 with PINQ2 and Universite de Sherbrooke. An April 2026 trade report says Canadian users reach Pasqal's Orion Alpha through PINQ2 alongside IBM's Quantum System One, which is the latest evidence it is still in service. The 127-qubit figure is the Eagle processor reported at inauguration; any later processor swap is not covered.
Spec sheet
Technical details as the builder or a paper states them, each with its own source. A blank is a fact we could not source, not a zero. Fidelity and coherence figures are in the benchmark table below.
