Cerebras Guyana AI Data Center

Operated by Cerebras at Cerebras AI Data Center (Wales, Guyana) .

Phase 1 seed dataset, compiled by hand. These rows were built from public operator, laboratory and vendor sources. A mechanical second-reader pass has since fetched every cited source: 1092 of 1153 systems have a readable citation that names them, and 40 are genuinely weakly sourced. Every claim carries its source and a confidence tier. Treat anything below verified as a lead, not a citation.

Figures are as last publicly reported for the configuration described below, not a live measurement. Where a system was upgraded in place, the post-upgrade configuration is shown and the earlier one appears in the timeline.

What this machine is made of

One row per supplier relationship. “Supplier at build” is the company that shipped the part at the time; where that company has since been acquired, the parent it rolls up to today is shown beside it. That distinction is what makes ticker-level aggregation possible across a thirty-year dataset.

The read

Announced 11 November 2025 as a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Guyana and Cerebras Systems to build and operate an AI data center of up to 100 MW at Wales, on Guyana's Demerara coast, deploying Cerebras CS-3 wafer-scale AI supercomputers as the flagship of Cerebras' 'Cerebras for Nations' sovereign-AI initiative. The facility is planned near Guyana's Gas-to-Energy plant and is intended to draw on natural gas piped from the Stabroek Block offshore oilfield. Cerebras and the Guyana government are to share revenue from the facility. Cerebras' own press release and independent trade press (Developing Telecoms) agree on the MoU date, the 100 MW target, the CS-3 platform and the Wales location, but neither discloses a unit count, GPU or core count, or FLOPS figure beyond the stated power target, and no ground-breaking or hardware delivery has been confirmed as of the most recent reporting found, so status is recorded as planned. Confidence stays reported because Cerebras is a party to the deal and no fully independent source restates the specific technical figures.
