AzInTelecom Supercomputer Center
Also known as Azerbaijan National Supercomputer Center (initial phase)
Operated by AzInTelecom at AzInTelecom Supercomputer Center (Baku) .
Phase 1 seed dataset, compiled by hand. These rows were built from public operator, laboratory and vendor sources. A mechanical second-reader pass has since fetched every cited source: 1092 of 1153 systems have a readable citation that names them, and 40 are genuinely weakly sourced. Every claim carries its source and a confidence tier. Treat anything below verified as a lead, not a citation.

Figures are as last publicly reported for the configuration described below, not a live measurement. Where a system was upgraded in place, the post-upgrade configuration is shown and the earlier one appears in the timeline.
What this machine is made of
One row per supplier relationship. “Supplier at build” is the company that shipped the part at the time; where that company has since been acquired, the parent it rolls up to today is shown beside it. That distinction is what makes ticker-level aggregation possible across a thirty-year dataset.

The read
Azerbaijan's first dedicated AI supercomputer center, operated by AzInTelecom LLC (a subsidiary of AZCON Holding) and built on Lenovo ThinkSystem SR680a V3 servers with NVIDIA H200 GPUs, NVIDIA InfiniBand NDR networking at 400 Gb/s and a DDN AI400X2 storage system, per Lenovo's own press release. Established under a 19 March 2025 presidential decree approving Azerbaijan's Artificial Intelligence Strategy for 2025-2028; Azernews independently reports AzInTelecom operates from existing Tier III data centers in Baku and Yevlakh, with further sites under construction in Absheron and Hajigabul. Neither source discloses power draw, exact GPU count or a precise commissioning date, so those fields are left blank and status_as_of records the Lenovo press release date (22 June 2026) rather than an exact first-operational date. A separate National Supercomputer Center is planned for 2026 under Azerbaijan's 2026-2028 digital development action plan but is not yet a built system, so it is not recorded as a separate row.

Source check
We fetched this system's own citations and recorded whether each page actually mentions it. This is a corroboration signal, not a fact check, and it is published so you can see how well the sourcing holds up rather than take it on trust.
