An IBM BladeCenter JS21 cluster at the University of Sao Paulo, installed in 2006. TOP500 lists 448 cores of PowerPC 970 2C 2.5GHz blades on Myrinet running Linux, 3.18 TFlop/s Rmax and 4.48 TFlop/s Rpeak, ranked 363rd on the November 2006 list, its only appearance found, which is the basis for the status date. TOP500 is the only source; no operator page was found and no campus or institute within the university is named, so the system is unlocated and the tier is reported. It is separate from the USP CIAAM Jairu AI cluster already in this dataset.
