Omnia Pecem (TikTok)

Also known as ByteDance Ceara data center; TikTok Pecem data center hub

Operated by Omnia Data Centers at Pecem Export Processing Zone Site .

Phase 1 seed dataset, compiled by hand. These rows were built from public operator, laboratory and vendor sources. A mechanical second-reader pass has since fetched every cited source: 1092 of 1153 systems have a readable citation that names them, and 40 are genuinely weakly sourced. Every claim carries its source and a confidence tier. Treat anything below verified as a lead, not a citation.

What this machine is made of

One row per supplier relationship. “Supplier at build” is the company that shipped the part at the time; where that company has since been acquired, the parent it rolls up to today is shown beside it. That distinction is what makes ticker-level aggregation possible across a thirty-year dataset.

The read

A 200 MW data centre in the Pecem port complex export processing zone (Caucaia, Ceara, Brazil) developed by Omnia Data Centers (Patria Investments) for ByteDance (TikTok), ByteDance's first dedicated infrastructure in Latin America. The first phase has about 200 MW of productive IT load inside a 300 MW power envelope; The Next Web (18 May 2026) puts the combined investment at about 9.8 billion dollars (7 to 8 billion of ByteDance IT equipment, about 2 billion for Omnia infrastructure, and Casa dos Ventos wind capacity under a 20-year energy contract) with first-phase operations expected in 2027. InfoMoney's earlier coverage notes that ByteDance had not publicly confirmed its participation at announcement. No accelerator vendor or count is stated. The tier is reported. It has never submitted an HPL result.
