Parts/Operating systems/Rocky Linux
Operating systems
Rocky Linux
Community RHEL-compatible Linux distribution; Serafin's node operating system.
Why this part
Started in 2021 by one of CentOS's original founders after Red Hat converted CentOS from a downstream rebuild into a rolling preview of RHEL, the same 2020 event this dataset's own CentOS part row describes. Serafin runs Rocky Linux 8.8 at UNC's CCAD centre, making it one of the few systems in this dataset recorded on CentOS's direct successor rather than on CentOS itself, RHEL, or Ubuntu.

“Units recorded” sums only the edges where a public source states a quantity. It is a floor, not a total, and should never be read as installed base.
