Zuchongzhi 3.2

Zuchongzhi 3.2 is a superconducting circuits quantum computer operated by USTC in China. It has 107 physical qubits. It ranks 19 of 43 superconducting machines in this table by physical qubit count. 6 sourced specs are in the spec sheet. 1 published benchmark or milestone record are listed below, each marked by who measured it.

Also known as USTC 107-qubit processor

USTC's processor used for a distance-7 surface code memory that the authors report operates below the error correction threshold, published in Physical Review Letters in December 2025. The measured logical error suppression factor is 1.40, lower than the 2.14 reported for Google's Willow. The 107-qubit count comes from trade press, not the paper abstract.

Spec sheet

Technical details as the builder or a paper states them, each with its own source. A blank is a fact we could not source, not a zero. Fidelity and coherence figures are in the benchmark table below.

Processor Zuchongzhi 3.2: 107-qubit superconducting processor Vendor reported The 107-qubit count is stated in the July 2026 arXiv paper and in Quantum Computing Report coverage of the PRL result. arxiv.orgquantumcomputingreport.com
Qubit type Frequency-tunable transmon qubits with tunable nearest-neighbor couplers Vendor reported From the supplementary appendix of an arXiv preprint by the same group (July 2026), not yet peer reviewed. arxiv.org
Topology Square lattice with tunable nearest-neighbor couplers Vendor reported Same appendix; a 65-qubit, 104-coupler sub-region was used for the logical CNOT experiment. arxiv.org
Native gates Single-qubit gates and CZ; all-microwave leakage reduction unit and reset Vendor reported The appendix names two-qubit CZ gates and all-microwave leakage reduction and reset protocols as part of the processor control. arxiv.org
Cooling and environment Dilution refrigerator; all-microwave leakage control reduces wiring density Vendor reported Quantum Computing Report summary; the paper abstract gives no temperature. quantumcomputingreport.com
Predecessor Zuchongzhi 3.0 Vendor reported The paper cites the Zuchongzhi 3.0 PRL as an earlier characterization of the same processor family; USTC does not call 3.0 a predecessor. arxiv.org
