PIAST-Q

PIAST-Q is a trapped ions quantum computer operated by PSNC in Poland. It has 20 physical qubits. It ranks 9 of 15 trapped ion machines in this table by physical qubit count. 7 sourced specs are in the spec sheet. No benchmark figures are recorded for it yet.

Also known as EuroHPC PIAST-Q

Trapped-ion computer supplied by Alpine Quantum Technologies (Innsbruck) and hosted and operated by PCSS in Poznan. It was the first EuroHPC quantum computer to be inaugurated (23 June 2025), with a stated total cost of EUR 12.28 million split equally between EuroHPC JU and two Polish ministries. It is coupled first to the ALTAIR supercomputer and later to the planned PIAST-AI system. Gate fidelities and coherence times are described only qualitatively in the sources.

Co-located supercomputer: Altair. This machine is integrated with, or hosted beside, that system.

Spec sheet

Technical details as the builder or a paper states them, each with its own source. A blank is a fact we could not source, not a zero. Fidelity and coherence figures are in the benchmark table below.
