Oracle OCI Helios

Oracle OCI Helios is a trapped ions quantum computer operated by Oracle in USA. It has 98 physical qubits. It ranks 4 of 18 trapped ion machines in this table by physical qubit count. 5 sourced specs are in the spec sheet. No benchmark figures are recorded for it yet.

Also known as Quantinuum Helios in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure

Multi-year Oracle and Quantinuum partnership announced on 11 August 2026 to put a Helios inside a US-based OCI AI data center, co-located with OCI HPC and NVIDIA GPU clusters, and sell access as a managed OCI quantum service with a preview planned for the coming months. An analyst write-up of the earnings call says Oracle is buying the system outright and that it will be the first Helios in a US data center outside Quantinuum's own facility, with most revenue expected in 2027. Quantum Computing Report quotes about 60 kW draw excluding external HVAC. The data center's state and city are not named, so no site is linked; the hardware design is that of quantinuum-helios, and the Singapore unit is quantinuum-helios-singapore. Access is recorded as both because customers reach the on-premises unit as a cloud service.
