Horizon Quantum Testbed
Horizon Quantum Testbed is a superconducting circuits quantum computer operated by Horizon Quantum Computing in Singapore. It has 9 physical qubits. It ranks 61 of 74 superconducting machines in this table by physical qubit count. 4 sourced specs are in the spec sheet. No benchmark figures are recorded for it yet.
Also known as Horizon Quantum in-house superconducting system
Horizon Quantum announced on 3 December 2025 that it had assembled and run its first quantum computer at its Singapore headquarters, making it the first quantum software company to own and operate one; Singapore's minister marked the testbed inauguration on 26 January 2026. The 2025 release names only a Rigetti superconducting processor, Maybell's cryogenic platform and Quantum Machines electronics. The 9-qubit figure comes from the April 2024 Rigetti sale of a 9-qubit Novera QPU (Ankaa-class, fourth generation) to Horizon for this testbed, so it assumes the Novera was the chip installed. Horizon plans to expose the machine through its Triple Alpha IDE and says the testbed has room for more systems. No fidelities are published. Other Novera buyers in the dataset include rigetti-novera-montana-state and rigetti-novera-usask.
Spec sheet
Technical details as the builder or a paper states them, each with its own source. A blank is a fact we could not source, not a zero. Fidelity and coherence figures are in the benchmark table below.
