Diraq Equinix Sydney System

Diraq Equinix Sydney System is a silicon spin quantum computer operated by Diraq in Australia. It has 8 physical qubits. It ranks 3 of 5 silicon spin machines in this table by physical qubit count. 7 sourced specs are in the spec sheet. No benchmark figures are recorded for it yet.

Also known as Diraq 8-qubit silicon system

Diraq and Equinix announced around 1 September 2026 an 8-qubit silicon system inside an Equinix data centre in Sydney, billed as the first silicon spin quantum computer in a shared commercial facility. Diraq says installation is on track to finish in October 2026, after which the pair will test real-world operation, remote monitoring and CPU/GPU integration, then show it to partners and customers. Scaling is by swapping the chip with no change to surrounding infrastructure. Qubits are made in existing semiconductor foundries; the facility code, fidelity figures and system name are not stated, and no completion has been confirmed.

Spec sheet

Technical details as the builder or a paper states them, each with its own source. A blank is a fact we could not source, not a zero. Fidelity and coherence figures are in the benchmark table below.
