Jet and turboprop engine and defence propulsion manufacturer; the remaining core of the original General Electric conglomerate after the November 2021 to April 2024 spin-offs of GE HealthCare and GE Vernova, at which point it adopted the GE Aerospace name. Its GE Research arm at Niskayuna, NY builds in-house HPC (Menlo) for aviation, energy and healthcare modeling.
