Fuyao

Also known as XPeng-Alibaba Cloud Autonomous Driving Computing Center

Operated by XPeng Motors at Fuyao Computing Center (Ulanqab) .

Phase 1 seed dataset, compiled by hand. These rows were built from public operator, laboratory and vendor sources. A mechanical second-reader pass has since fetched every cited source: 1092 of 1153 systems have a readable citation that names them, and 40 are genuinely weakly sourced. Every claim carries its source and a confidence tier. Treat anything below verified as a lead, not a citation.

What this machine is made of

One row per supplier relationship. “Supplier at build” is the company that shipped the part at the time; where that company has since been acquired, the parent it rolls up to today is shown beside it. That distinction is what makes ticker-level aggregation possible across a thirty-year dataset.

The read

Built by XPeng Motors with Alibaba Cloud's intelligent-computing platform in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia, and announced 2 August 2022 as, at the time, the largest computing center dedicated to autonomous-driving model training in China. CnEVPost and Carscoops, two independent outlets, agree on the headline 600 PFLOPS aggregate figure, the Ulanqab location, and the roughly 170x training-speed claim (a self-driving core model's training time falling from about seven days to under an hour); neither states whether the figure is an HPL result, so flops_basis is recorded as vendor_peak. No GPU model, node count or power draw was disclosed in the sources fetched; CnEVPost separately reports air cooling with an annual PUE below 1.2. Five months later Haomo.AI announced Mana Oasis (see haomo-mana-oasis) claiming a larger 670 PFLOPS, illustrating how quickly China's automotive AI-training arms race moved through 2022 and 2023.
