Lucy
Lucy is a photonic quantum computer operated by CEA in France. It has 12 physical qubits. It ranks 2 of 4 photonic machines in this table by physical qubit count. 9 sourced specs are in the spec sheet. No benchmark figures are recorded for it yet.
Also known as EuroQCS-France, Quandela Lucy
Photonic quantum computer built by the Quandela and attocube systems partnership and procured by EuroHPC JU through the EuroQCS-France consortium, installed at CEA's TGCC. It was delivered in October 2025, entered acceptance, and was inaugurated on 14 April 2026. The sources say it is coupled to the Joliot-Curie supercomputer without naming a partition, so the link to the Rome partition is the closest match in this dataset. The cost is stated as EUR 8.5 million, split equally between EuroHPC JU and France.
Co-located supercomputer: Joliot-Curie Rome. This machine is integrated with, or hosted beside, that system.
Spec sheet
Technical details as the builder or a paper states them, each with its own source. A blank is a fact we could not source, not a zero. Fidelity and coherence figures are in the benchmark table below.
