Eaton Power Xpert busway

Overhead busway distribution inside the white space.

Why this part

Busway replaces cable trays with a rigid overhead conductor that rows tap into with plug-in boxes, which matters once a facility is being reconfigured every eighteen months rather than built once and left alone. Pulling new cable runs under a raised floor for each hardware refresh does not scale to the pace at which AI infrastructure is currently being replaced; a tap-off box does. It is a mundane part and a genuine constraint: the busway's rated capacity, decided at construction, caps how much the room can ever draw regardless of what compute arrives next.

Systems using this part

No systems in the current dataset record this part. It is carried in the taxonomy so the graph is complete, and so edges can attach to it as coverage grows.
