AWS Graviton4

96 Arm Neoverse V2 cores, 12-channel DDR5. Designed by the operator that runs it and sold only as capacity, never as a part.

Why this part

Designed by the company that operates it and sold to nobody. Graviton exists because at Amazon's scale the margin a CPU vendor takes is larger than the cost of employing a CPU design team, and because owning the part means the roadmap matches the fleet rather than the vendor's other customers. It is invisible to every parts-market analysis that counts units shipped, since none are, and this is now true of a large and growing share of the world's installed compute.

Systems using this part

No systems in the current dataset record this part. It is carried in the taxonomy so the graph is complete, and so edges can attach to it as coverage grows.
